Nazis

Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party are some of the most recognizable figures and symbols in human history.  From 1919 to the present the Nazis have had a great affect on Germany and the German people.  Yet, what effect has the party had on the German people from before Hitler ran Germany to the present day?  Do we still associate the German people with Hitler and his Nazis?  In a world where racism is supposedly dead, why are German characters in tv shows usually nazis or nazi-ish?  In my opinion, Germany will never be able to live this time in history down.  It will always be a dark cloud above the Germans' head.  This paper will cover the effects of the Nazis on its own people, the good the bad and the everlasting.  The question I intend to answer is "What effect has the Nazi party had on the German people from before Hitler ran Germany to the present day?"
